I’m a teacher, too.
I’m Kristina Stone LeCrone, a university professor, author, and the person behind CALM AI.
My 35 years in classrooms have taken me to Alaska, the Marshall Islands, Korea, and Idaho. That experience shapes the questions I ask about teaching, learning, and AI.
Why I created CALM AI
The teacher still matters. So does the learning.
AI brings new decisions into work that already asks a great deal of educators. I want those decisions to leave room for your expertise, your relationships, and your judgment.
I help thoughtful K–12 and higher education educators use AI without losing rigor, integrity, or themselves. The work includes five books, the AI Faculty Break Room, a YouTube channel, keynotes, and district consulting.
We can begin with a classroom question or a schoolwide conversation. Either way, learning stays at the center.
